Dear Santa’s Friends,

We would like to begin this update by stating, for the official North Pole record, that traveling with Santa is not for the faint of heart.

There are suitcases. There are snacks. There are disguises. There are at least seven moments where someone says, “Where did Santa go?” and the answer is usually, “He is standing right there holding a coconut and pretending not to be Santa.”

After quite a bit of travel, a little airport chaos, and one very suspicious moment involving Santa’s hat sticking out of a bag, we have officially arrived at our resort in the islands.

And Santa?

Santa needed a nap.

Not a little nap, either. Not one of those polite “I’ll just rest my eyes” naps.

No. This is a full Santa-level tropical recharge. The kind where the snoring gently rattles the shutters and at least one elf has already checked to make sure it wasn’t thunder.

We are very excited for our time here in the islands. Santa has already been taking notes, meeting people, smiling at children, inspecting palm trees for “proper holiday spirit,” and making sure the beach snacks meet North Pole quality standards.

Very important work.

Soon, Santa will be sending letters out to children with stories, photos, and a few surprises from this trip. There is so much to share, and we can hardly wait for everyone to see where he has been, what he has discovered, and what kind of trouble we absolutely did not cause.

Probably.

For now, we are going to let Santa snore the afternoon away while we go practice juggling coconuts.

Responsibly, of course.

Mostly.

With sandy shoes and excellent intentions,
The Elves
